Likewise 4 members of local Ram Jangal Singh Boxing Club represented National team in World Kick Boxing championship (2016) at Italy and won medals for the country.

Talking about its foundation at Dighwara, Amit Kumar said that credit goes to one Roshan Singh, an Army man of village Ram Das Chak under Dighwar block who introduced this game at Dighwara. “In the beginning people of this rural town were shy in sending their daughters for practice but when they found this as a nice tool for self defense, they allowed them to participate” said Amit adding that documentary film on the kick Boxing of Dighwara has been very popular on social media..

When contacted Ashok Kumar Singh, a social worker at Dighwara said that considering the interest of some of the local boys and girls Ram Jangal Singh Boxing Club was established in 2008 on the premises of Ram Jangal Singh College (Dighwara) and later this Club has been renamed as ‘Kick Boxing Club in 2014’.
